Why this matters in Bothwell

Every local market has its own rhythm. In Bothwell, the right route depends on property type, buyer demand, presentation, timing and how clearly the agent explains the plan.

That is why a useful estate agent conversation should feel practical from the start. You should come away knowing what matters, what can wait and what the next sensible step is.

No fog machine. No grand speech. Just advice that helps you make a decision like a normal human being.

Questions worth asking before you decide

Buyers should not feel awkward asking practical questions. A good viewing should leave you clearer, not standing outside wondering if everyone else got handed a secret manual.

Before you offer, get the obvious points straight.

  • condition and any obvious maintenance points
  • space, storage, parking and day-to-day practicality
  • Home Report details and anything that needs clarification
  • location, transport, schools or amenities where relevant
  • whether the asking price and offer strategy feel sensible

Careful advice for every property type

Bothwell has a mix of property types, owners and reasons for moving. Some people are protecting a major financial asset, some are downsizing, some are selling a rental property and some simply want the next step to feel less stressful.

The right advice should fit the person and the property. A flat, family home, rental property or inherited home all deserve accurate pricing, clear presentation and a process that feels respectful from the first conversation.

Lewis was my estate agent for my flat in Glasgow which I’ve just sold. It was on the market for 3 days before I accepted an offer. The selling process is stressful for sure but Lewis handled it well. At the first meeting, I didn’t believe Lewis when he gave me his thoughts on the price I would get for the property, I had to trust him and the process and sure enough, he was right and I was flabbergasted to say the least. I would highly recommend using them, so easy to deal with. No flashy sales brochures required, easy to communicate with and knows what’s going on in Glasgow with the prices of property (unlike me ha). Thank you Lewis.

We can’t recommend Lewis Murphy highly enough. He’s been instrumental in helping us scale rapidly and is now managing a portfolio of 20 properties for us with complete professionalism. Lewis handles everything from tenant sourcing and compliance to ongoing maintenance and problem-solving, all with an incredible level of care and efficiency.

What really sets him apart is his commitment - he genuinely treats each property as if it were his own. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he’s become a trusted partner (and friend) along the way. He knows this game inside out, and our tenants love him also. Our properties are kept in tip top condition 247, 365 days of the year, and from a business point of view, our rents drop into our account as and when they are received with no issues.

Thank you, Lewis - we couldn’t have done it without you!
