Glasgow West End Living

The ‘West End’ of Glasgow is renowned for its beautiful architecture, quaint shops, bustling nightlife, parks and is centred around Byres Road. The area attracts young and mature professionals and students attending Glasgow University.

The area around Byres Road is known as Hillhead and Dowanhill and is the busiest and liveliest part of the West End. Byres Road is a main artery running between Dumbarton Road and Great Western Road and people come here to shop, dine and meet friends. Ahston Lane situated behind Byres Road is a popular cobbled lane come rain, hail or snow. The lane is housed by many pubs, restaurants and the Grosvenor Cinema where you can enjoy watching a film with a glass or wine or beer.

    Lewis was my estate agent for my flat in Glasgow which I’ve just sold. It was on the market for 3 days before I accepted an offer. The selling process is stressful for sure but Lewis handled it well. At the first meeting, I didn’t believe Lewis when he gave me his thoughts on the price I would get for the property, I had to trust him and the process and sure enough, he was right and I was flabbergasted to say the least. I would highly recommend using them, so easy to deal with. No flashy sales brochures required, easy to communicate with and knows what’s going on in Glasgow with the prices of property (unlike me ha). Thank you Lewis.
